Dr. Jalelah Abdul-Raheem is a Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience in Adult Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Home Health, and Case Management. She currently works as a nurse educator preparing students nationwide for the NCLEX exam and teaches in RN-BSN, MSN, and DNP programs. She has been in nursing education for the past 15 years and has lead nursing program for 10 years. She is Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and is a Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS). All this work, plus raising a son with Autism and other disability has led to founding J Atifa RN Support Services serving as the Autism Meltdown Navigator by helping parents and providers navigate meltdowns and other complex challenges. She is the author of the Unexpected Experiences Beyond Autism book series which includes her memoir and resource workbook companion available on Amazon.
